The Super One Series is televised on the SkySports and MotorsTV channels:
Super One Television Coverage details 2011 In order to maintain equal coverage as far as possible for each class, the four Rotax classes will appear in a one hour Rotax programe. The other classes in the MSA series will appear, along with the Honda Cadet race from the Rotax round, in a two hour programme.
This saves the production team trying to squeeze 5 races into a one hour (4x12m parts) programme, and 7 into a 1.5 hour programme. The channel will not accept hour fifteen minute or hour forty-five minute programmes, so this is the best way to make sure each class gets equal time. If a class falls below 10 in number during the season, it is possible that this would be included in a shorter highlight summary of that race, and the programme then include more features/interviews etc.
This season each driver will receive a DVD of the programme through the post (rather than the following round) after each round is completed (Rounds 1,3,4,6,& 7 of each series will be filmed). Drivers are likely to receive these by post before the programme airs. Drivers can still send in a stamped addressed jiffy bag with a usb stick for a copy of your race formatted for playing on your phone or via itunes. Please ensure you have sent in your media form. |
