S1 is entering a team at the Henry Surtees All Comers Race on Thursday 20 October. Drivers, who include Johnny Herbert, Oliver Rowland, Jake Dennis, Adam Christo and Scott Malvern will use the Club 100 karts so it should be pretty exciting and there are lots of great prizes on offer. Congratulations to Tom Joyner, the 2011 MSA British Kart Champion, who will receive an £8,000 Fiat car for winning the KF2 final at the new extended PFI circuit on 2.10.11. He led from start to finish ahead of David Sutton and Mark Litchfield whilst Jordan Chamberlain had the terrible misfortune of his engine refusing to start. All results here. 18/07/2011

BMB & Birel chiefs paid a visit to Super One KGP on 2/3 July: Round 4 of the Marussia Virgin Formula KGP S1 series heads across the border to Larkhall in Scotland on the weekend of 2nd and 3rd July and BMB boss Carlo Boscolo and Birel boss Ronni Sala will be in attendance at Larkhall to watch the KGP race and assist KGP clients in this the inaugural year of Formula KGP.
"We are delighted on the progress of KGP in the UK, Andy Cox and Paul Deavin have done a fantastic job bringing KGP to the UK market, we hope in the remainder of this year and into 2012 that numbers will increase. I want to thank all the drivers that have backed our KGP concept and that is why we are taking the time to come and show our support as they have shown for us" commented BMB boss Carlo Boscolo.
For Birel boss Ronni Sala it will be his second visit to Larkhall, previously having attended exclusive Birel chassis tests in 2006 with UK Importer ACR.
Ronni Sala - "It's a good circuit ,very technical as I remember, our Birel chassis are going very well this year so it will be interesting to see the race, like Carlo though I am very keen to see the development of KGP in the UK, its an exciting traditional karting catagory -that was our aim when we started it and I am very pleased that people in the UK like the concept."
